Previously Confitemini
Domino of church music. Here we proclaim The Lord is Good, but immediately
our minds get back to the fastest growing religion in OZ - gambling.
Tasmanic
University research tells us that in 2002 Australians spent over $3 billion
on gambling, with just under a billion dollars on "The Pokies",
as they're affectionately known.
We are told that 40% of us gamble every week, but as there's a chance
to win with nearly everything you purchase, I'll give ya 2 to 1 on it's
really over 80%.
These factors make gambling
the fastest growing religion in the country, protected by God, Government
(who tax it), and the queen (remember Her?).
The user friendly...(insert
name of your group) monks now bring you the New
Gospel Mantra for the Holy Dollar.
We took a punt, and redeveloped
a song from the old time religion.
Amen, and good luck, mate!

Let's go down to the casino. Everyone I know has been there.
Let's go down to the casino. Throw some money at the wheel.
(9/8
rollicking feel)
Life's a game of chance
anyway.
Roll the dice and let's get started.
Racing, scratchies, pokies, bingo.
(slow) Virtual Reality!
(wow man)
(a
tempo)
Never mind about the children's food.
We might win enough to feed them.
We can dine at the soup kitchen,
if we cannot feed ourselves.
'Ave you got any Dominoes?
It's a TAB bonus.
Confitemini Casino. (rit)
Alleluia.
