There Will Be Peace was written for "Voices Together", Lismore's Reconciliation choir, for the International Day of Peace, August 2002.

It is very simple, with the two outer parts parallel throughout, and the middle part not quite parallel. Octave doubling of any of the parts is O.K. and the bigger the group the more powerful it will feel.
I suggest you start with three and let it build from verse to verse.

Make sure it lilts by accenting the start of each bar slightly, and don't rush.

The first five verses are the same tune, which then has some variation in the last two.

May you have a peaceful time with it.

it will be so.
